The emphasis on playing RPGs or board games and over-explaining them to the viewers was especially grating. Because this is an anime about making manga and anime, it gets a bit of a bump up.Įnjoyment: Can't say that I enjoyed this anime much. Value: I felt soiled after watching this, but I have an interest in the creative process as portrayed in anime, even it is by accident on the part of the author. The female characters are pin-up girls for the male characters and the viewers to salivate over. I hope for his sake that he pulls out of it.Ĭharacters: The male characters, the MC and his friend, are just two aspects of the author's personality. Story: The story is, unfortunately, an exploration of the low self esteem and nagging feelings of talentlessness felt by the author Hirasaka Yomi who wrote Haganai. Sound: Neither added or detracted from the overall impression. Art & Animation: The animation was the best part of this anime.
