Pairs of the Nike Cosmic Unity ‘Space Hippie’ will hit Nike and selected Swoosh stockists on March 12, following in the footsteps of the ‘Green Glow’ colourway on February 26, and the ‘Amalgam’ on March 7. The Nike Cosmic Unity ‘Space Hippie’ dresses the hoops shoe in the cool hues that distinguish the brand’s eco-friendly footwear line, which marries radical design and repurposed ‘space junk.’ The sneaker’s breathable textile upper, constructed from recycled cable yarn, is mounted on a Crater Foam midsole that uses a blend proprietary foams and around 10 Nike Grind. The silhouette also contains a full-length Zoom Air Strobel unit, making it a basketball shoe for ballers that believe in making a difference both on and off the court. The Cosmic Unity is the first performance shoe to sit under Nike’s Move to Zero initiative and, as such, is made with at least 25 percent recycled content by weight. ![]() ![]() Taking strong aesthetic cues from Team Swoosh’s high-profile Space Hippie range, this rendition dresses in ‘Particle Grey’ and ‘Chambray Blue’, before being joined by clean touches of orange. These official Nike images join the on-foot look from earlier this month to paint a very detailed picture of both the colourway and the all-new baller. The sustainability-focused baller was formally launched earlier this month, we’ve just seen the official pics for the ‘Amalgam’ rendition, and now it’s time for a good look at the ‘Space Hippie’ version. ![]() The public release of the Nike Cosmic Unity is almost here, so we’re starting to get a closer look at the trio of debut colourways for the on-court model.
